The History:

I was working for KEA Campervans in Auckland. So I had a good chance to fit in everything we need for travelling around NZ.
It has pretty much the same equipment as every campervan you can hire.

But that’s not all! As we can’t put pictures of every detail on this site – here some more details:

  • 1400mm x 2000mm bed ***Queen-size bed*** perfect for 2, but also suitable for 3!
  • 3 seats in front
  • 25l watertank (usefull for dishwashing, shower, etc.)
  • 3 x 12v batteries, one is the mainbattery for the engine and the two others are for the fridge and two additional lights in the ‘living area’ (there is a special relay to recharge the 2 in the back. If those are empty the mainbattery will NOT be used!)
  • 12v fridge with small freezer (65 liter). Runs up to 3 days without running the engine
  • gas stove (two hobs) with toaster (toaster can also be used as a heater just in a case it’s cold ;) ) including 2kg gasbottle plus additional outdoor stove with several small gasbottles
  • all kitchen gear (cutlery, plates, pots & pans, etc.)
  • 20m extension cable with plug for campgrounds
  • clothesline in the car with clothes pegs (as it can be wet in NZ)
  • two umbrellas
  • Table in the car can be fixed on the rear of the car (for the sunny days)
  • two camping chairs
  • additional electrical toaster
  • electrical watercooker
  • electrical heater
  • 10l basin for the dish washing plus all needed accessories
  • self-made spice rack
  • B&W TV
  • 100 pieces plastic containers
  • rubbish bin
  • lots of storage room
  • curtains (dark blue) all around
  • fishing rod plus fishing gear
  • bodyboard
  • selfmade bottleholder with storage for your lollies
  • map reading light on passengerside only
  • all AA maps plus several specific maps for NZ
  • two mosquitonets for some fresh air in the night

and much more… it’s a must-see!!!

bin grad zu faul engl. zu schreiben.
ist euer van noch zu haben ? wir wuerden ihn gerne kaufen.
ist der preis ggf. noch einkleines bischen verhandelbar?
wann werdet ihr eure reise in chch beenden ?
wir befinden uns zur zeit in hokitika(westkueste) und suchen nach einem van. wir muessen schon sagen, dass eure erfahrung bei kea anscheinend sehr hilfreich war. sieht toll aus.
